The Cinderella twist

One early morning Cinderella’s dad had come into her room and told her something very surprising he had told cinderella he had got his dream job further off in the city. Cinderella was very unhappy to see her father go but she knew his job was his dream so she had pondered and had let her father go.

Cinderella reached for coincidence and set off for a few days to find her true love. First she had to blurt her step mother before she took off but she had got locked up in the basement. She yelled “Let me out let me out” so her fairy godmother had heard Cinderella was in trouble so she came to help cinderella get ready for this ball.

Cinderella had traveled to the castle and found her true love dancing alone. When the prince had set eye on Cinderella he was amazed to see someone so beautiful she asked for this one dance and she said “yes you may have this dance”They had danced for quite a while but as soon as that clock strikes twelve Cinderella knew what would happened if it had hit twelve. She told her prince she had to go but he held her but she managed to get away as he ran after her it was to late she had already left but she left a shiny blue glass slipper on the second step of the castle.

The Prince pushed orders and continued to look for this girl in a discreetly way of manner he went around town searching for this one girl but she was nowhere to been seen only until she asked who he was looking for. The prince had looked disgusted by how she looked and didn't wanna take observe on what she looked like so he said who are you,you look very hideous person to be seen “oh no” she said “my prince doesn't love me for who I am” she asked to wish for anything and she wished for a decent and generous man so she married a baker and Cinderella lived a merry life.

My story about Cinderella is kind of different towards the real story behind the movie it's like a twist so I hope you have enjoyed and enjoy my writing about Cinderella

How to be a good role modelm

Good role models are always a good friend to talk to when you're sad and feeling down, Role models are like your best friends that can help you do the right thing.

To be a good role model is by turning up to school on time and never being late always being at school 100%.

Another good way to be a good role model is by picking up rubbish that’s lying around the school this helps our environment and school to keep tidy and also earth. Its shows kids what it’s like be a good role model.

Another way to be a good role model is by being positive and doing positive things.

There you have it always show the little kids what a true Role model looks like, never show them right from wrong and always treat others the way you want to be treated, as in not being mean to others like saying your dumb and you don’t know anything do you think that’s a good role model.

My sleep over

What did you do in the holidays?

On Friday the 28th of April I had a sleep over Myztique and my three cousins Sahara,Tiare and Nevayah we had a sleep over at my house it was so fun because the things we did were our hair nails and we had a lot of junk food. When we had finished doing all of those activities we had done some challenges like guess the food, what's in my mouth and the water challenge the water challenge was the most hardest one because when we would laugh someone one would spit there water on the floor or on someone else it was kinda gross but we had a lot of fun, after we had done all of our challenges and out hair we made our beds and watched a movie and we didn't go to bed until 2:00 in the morning I was so tired we didn't wake up until 11:00 and then I told the girls that we had sleep in and that we needed to clean the house before my mum had got home and we cleaned the house just in time before my mum had came home. About 1:00 after cleaning the house we were so hot and we needed to go for a swim for a 2:23 we decided to go pools so we did we had a 2 hour swim and got out at 4:35 and we went back to my house a relaxed and played on our technology and my holiday was super exciting and fun and there were more fun activities me my friends and family did in the holiday.

How to bake chocolate chip cookies

How to make chocolate chip cookies

Have you ever had chocolate chip cookies before? I have and I’m going to show you how to make them. The first step is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and on bake then you want to get all of your ingredients and start mixing them altogether.

So what you're gonna need is 1 large bowl or any bowl, 1 cup of softened butter,1 cup of white sugar,1 cup of brown sugar,2 eggs,2 teaspoons of vanilla extract,3 cups of all-purpose flour,1 teaspoon of baking soda,2 teaspoons of hot water,½ teaspoons of salt and ½ cups of chocolate chips but if you like you could add  anything peanuts, walnuts,M&M’s anything you would prefer to have in your cookie.

After you have finished putting all of your ingredients into your bowl you want to mix your cookie mixture just until everything has combined. If you're like me I love a chewy cookie and to make a chewy cookie you're gonna have to use the real mixer to mix it well until combined and this may sound crazy but the homemade cookies you make at home are ten times better than the box cookies because they're chewy yummy and they got a slight crunch from the edges.

Then you want to cook them for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven and then you will know there done when you see the nice crispy brown around the edges. Put them on a platter and let them cool completely and then share them out to your family and friends.
Tip: If you bake half and you put the remaining half in the freezer you could have homemade cookies in 15 minutes.

One special thing about my community are mine and my family’s marae. I live in Auckland New Zealand and my marae is very far from where I live. My marae is all the way in Taheke next to Waima and Kaikohe.

It takes about four and a half hours to get to my marae. what’s special about my marae is that my an sister that have passed that was there marae and Taheke marae is still there because that’s where they were brought up. If you didn’t know there are always cemeteries next to your marae that’s where my great grandparents and an sister that have passed that’s where they had got barred and that is very special to me.

If you have two marae that you think are really special to you and your family community that’s great because I have two marae, the other marae is Hiona marae that's all the way in Hamilton. This marae is special to me because that’s my papa’s mum and dad's marae and there is a cemetery just down the road from Hiona marae and that’s where they had been barred. Hiona marae is another special marae in our family community.

Taheke and Hiona are very special towards our family community and we always put koha towards both maraes Taheke and Hiona but most important the reason why Taheke and Hiona are really special to me is because Taheke marae is my Nan's marae and Hiona marae is my papa's marae and they are both very much alive.

These both marae Hiona and taheke are the most special towards our community and they are really common and they will always be our most important marae in our family community.
