How to bake chocolate chip cookies
How to make chocolate chip cookies
Have you ever had chocolate chip cookies before? I have and I’m going to show you how to make them. The first step is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and on bake then you want to get all of your ingredients and start mixing them altogether.
So what you're gonna need is 1 large bowl or any bowl, 1 cup of softened butter,1 cup of white sugar,1 cup of brown sugar,2 eggs,2 teaspoons of vanilla extract,3 cups of all-purpose flour,1 teaspoon of baking soda,2 teaspoons of hot water,½ teaspoons of salt and ½ cups of chocolate chips but if you like you could add anything peanuts, walnuts,M&M’s anything you would prefer to have in your cookie.
After you have finished putting all of your ingredients into your bowl you want to mix your cookie mixture just until everything has combined. If you're like me I love a chewy cookie and to make a chewy cookie you're gonna have to use the real mixer to mix it well until combined and this may sound crazy but the homemade cookies you make at home are ten times better than the box cookies because they're chewy yummy and they got a slight crunch from the edges.
Then you want to cook them for about 20 minutes in the preheated oven and then you will know there done when you see the nice crispy brown around the edges. Put them on a platter and let them cool completely and then share them out to your family and friends.

One special thing about my community are mine and my family’s marae. I live in Auckland New Zealand and my marae is very far from where I live. My marae is all the way in Taheke next to Waima and Kaikohe.
It takes about four and a half hours to get to my marae. what’s special about my marae is that my an sister that have passed that was there marae and Taheke marae is still there because that’s where they were brought up. If you didn’t know there are always cemeteries next to your marae that’s where my great grandparents and an sister that have passed that’s where they had got barred and that is very special to me.
If you have two marae that you think are really special to you and your family community that’s great because I have two marae, the other marae is Hiona marae that's all the way in Hamilton. This marae is special to me because that’s my papa’s mum and dad's marae and there is a cemetery just down the road from Hiona marae and that’s where they had been barred. Hiona marae is another special marae in our family community.
Taheke and Hiona are very special towards our family community and we always put koha towards both maraes Taheke and Hiona but most important the reason why Taheke and Hiona are really special to me is because Taheke marae is my Nan's marae and Hiona marae is my papa's marae and they are both very much alive.
These both marae Hiona and taheke are the most special towards our community and they are really common and they will always be our most important marae in our family community.

The Outstanding ASB Polyfest
Wow you will not guess where team five went? We went to the ASB polyfest In the morning team five had to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 some of us had come a bit late my aunty Leslie was one of our parent helpers I was glade she had came. We had to travel by bus it took about 15 minutes to get to the ASB polyfest there were 3 bus that had taken us to the polyfest When we first arrived at the ASB polyfest we had to take notice of the other schools we had to sit and wait for other schools to arrive so that team five and the other schools would know what to do. About half an hour later our tour guides were introduced to us my tour guide was male but i couldn't remember his name he took us over to each activity after we had finished the activities it was time for morning tea after the whole of team five had finished eating we got a goodie bag from the ASB organises in the Goddie bag were glasses a map book, sunscreen,ASB Tattoos and a fan. After that we had moved with our parent helpers the first stage we went to was the kapahaka stage there where two kapahaka collage groups that had performed I forgot there kapahaka name but they were really amazing especially the way they all were doing the pukana my favourite part of their performances was the way they had done their full bracket they had done five songs they put all of their time and practise into what they had to learn my favourite part of the poly fest was just enjoying myself with my friends and getting an opportunity to learn what I can do when I hit collage my most favourite part was getting my moko on my chin done.
