jesus is born

    intro

 Once upon a time there was a lady that was nice kind and friendly  and her name was mary. She was looking for a man to marry her and his name was Joseph. He wanted to marry mary and so they got married and had a son his name was Jesus. And that’s how Jesus was born.

Then after a few years Jesus had grown up and then he went on a horse to go for a ride then he got to this cross and that’s how Jesus died.

When  Jesus died god had saved him from the cross and he was saved he was grateful of God for saving him.  Then he had did it again and this time  he ashily died on his horse  on the cross and everyone there  had  seen  him die and it was sad and even to his parents so his  parents buried him and that's how Jesus was born and how he died.

It is important that works of art and their frames are respected. You can look and admire, but you must not touch. A handy tip to remember is to keep one meter away from the art at all times. One meter is about the same length as your arm span.

Always move carefully when in the gallery as most of the artwork is precious and priceless. Only walk, and be aware of what and who is around you at all times.

The Gallery is a shared public space, so please behave considerately to people around you and relate to others. Keep a quiet and low voice. The same volume that you would use in the library.

How do we stay How

Wow Do you know how to be sunsmart? Well I’m going to tell you about being sunsmart. Sunsmart is something that you need to keep safe with so you don’t get sunburnt.

If you're going to the beach or some place hot you always need to keep sunblock with you.

Did you know what you would need if it was a hot sunny day and you’re face was hot. You would of needed something to cover your head. Which is a sunhat so you can keep safe.

Be sunsmart from 10am to 4pm during, September to April. This is because it is burn time and the UV rays are at its strongest.

If you don’t stay in the shade you might get skin cancer. From the sun so keep safe and stay sunsmart.

Wow you will never guess what I did in the Holidays . Well i’m going to tell you so let’s get started. On Saturday it was my cousins 1st birthday.  it was awesome

For his birthday we went to rainbow's end.My aunty and my mum went on the new ride it was the stratosphere, it was freaky.After we went on the  ride  we eat candyfloce  with fish and chips.

On the gold rush it was even more freaky because it has changed and with alot of scary things. It was scary because chucky was holding a knife and the  was on my  Dads head he got a fright.

Then after that we went home and relaxed and watched movies then had a sleep.Then the next morning there was no power for 3 Days.So we went to my uncle's house because they had power to have hot showers it was nice.And i hope you had a good holiday class 10.

On Saturday it was my cousin’s birthday she turned 2 years old. It was at Panmure  pools, it was super  fun because I went on the hydro slide.

My uncle started dancing and we said he was being silly.

My uncle was crazy so he started dancing.

He had a birthday cake, and on it there were ten candles. He blew them out with a big puff, but they wouldn't blow out.

she had a birthday cake the cake  was a Minnie mouse cake it was delicious and the flavour  of the cake was strawberry with Minnie mouse ears.   Then after that

she had a bouncy castle with a basketball hoop and a slide so I had a perfect wonderful day at the pools.

Introduction

Have you ever heard of the key competencies? Thinking, managing self, participating and contributing, relating to others, using language symbols and texts? If you have, then I bet you are a super learner! However, if you haven’t, well I am here to explain exactly what they are.

Managing self

You’ve go to manage yourself  so you don't get in  trouble.  When you grow up you will turn up to be a better  person and you might find the perfect job  that’s right for you. And it’s   important to  manage yourself  so you can get better at something that you're really good at.

For example if you are doing something very bad you will get in trouble from the teacher. That’s why you should rewind that back and do the right thing.So Manage yourself and do the right thinkg so you can be cybersmart.

Relating to others

Relating to others means if someone puts you down and it hurts your feelings you know what to do just walk away  and just ignore  it and do the right thing. So you can do something better in your life.  you can end up being

something good in your life.

Thinking

Thinking means  you’ve got to think about what you are going to do before you do it. So you don’t get in trouble from the teacher.  And do the right thing and manage yourself.

Now you know what the key competencies are and so the key competencies can help you with your learning.And do you you’se these key competencies in your class or have you done some of these key competencies and the key competencies i’m doing are relating to others thinking and managing self .

What is culture?

Cultures are what make countries unique. Each country has different cultural activities and cultural rituals. Culture is seen in peoples writing religion, music, clothes, cooking, and what they do. Culture also includes the way people understand the world in their own lives.

Different countries have different cultures.For example,some older Japanese people were kimono,arranging flowers vases and have tea ceremonies.

My family is from Auckland New Zealand. And In my Maori culture we eat different food like hangi and many more. And the clothes that we were are piupiu.

A long time ago a poor japanese man and his wife went in to the forest to gather firewood.After a while, the old man was hungry so his wife made him some rice balls but they fell off the plate and into a hole the hole was big until they saw a mouse in the hole and the mouse said come down and get your rice balls so the old man went and got his rice balls and the mouse said take one of my jewels said the mouse so the poor man did and they lived happily ever after.

WW1 100 Anniversary

   WW1

In 1914 28th of June Franz Ferdinand was from Austria he was assassinated. Mr Burt and Mrs Flavell’s granddads fought in WW1.

Many flags will be flown at half mast today. New Zealand fought for the British Empire. We are part of the commonwealth.The New Zealand and Australian troops were called the ANZACS that is why we wear the poppy.

The Victoria Cross was awarded to all of the soldiers who fought in the war. And it was shot that was echoed it went around the world

The commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games are often called games,has a unique place in sporting history.It is an international multi-sport event like the Olympic except athletes commonwealth countries.this includes  countries like England New Zealand and the pacific islands.

The first games were held in Hamilton Canada there were eleven countries sent  four hundred athletes to take part in six sports  and fifty nine events.since then the games were held every four  years.however in 1942 and 1946 the games were cancelled because of the second world war.

There were many changes,even its name from 1930 to 1950 the games were known as the British Empire games.later,from 1970 until 1974 they took the title of the British commonwealth games.finally ,at the 1978 games Edmonton,Canada, this multi-sport event changed it’s name to the commonwealth games.
